Spend a day in the country without leaving the city! A National Landmark, the 250-acre grounds of The New York Botanical Garden includes dramatic rock outcroppings wetlands, ponds, a cascading waterfall, and a 40 acre tract of original forest that once covered New York City. Join us for a docent-led tour as we reveal some hidden beauties at the Garden. The Garden offers a tour with an ASL interpreter on the third Saturday of every month. This tour is free with paid admission. The
Garden is easy to reach! By CAR: 20 minutes from Midtown and 20 minutes from the George Washington Bridge. Call 718-817-8700 for travel directions. |
