Catch "TRASH" by James Caverly and Andrew Morrill in March! Tim and Jake may be Deaf roommates sharing an apartment in the city, but they’re polar opposites – each with very different views on what it means to be Deaf in a hearing world. When it comes to taking out the trash, they spiral into a comic and insightful examination of their personal garbage – and their perceptions of each other’s lives. Alexander Zeldin ("LOVE" at Park Avenue Armory) transforms the story of Antigone into a modern family portrait of love, guilt, and defiance. Featuring Lee Braithwaite (imleebraithwaite), Lorna Brown, Emma D'Arcy (emmaziadarcy) ("House of the Dragon"), Jerry Killick, Tobias Menzies ("The Crown"), and Ruby Stokes, with music by Yannis Philippakis (@ynnsphilippakis ) of Foals. Standing in solidarity with communities in Minnesota and across the country, we gather in grief and resolve to call for dignity, safety, and human rights for all. For eight hours, artists, elected officials, and community leaders will hold the floor, sharing words and songs as a living call to action. In partnership with The Public, Hands On is ensuring this event is accessible to the Deaf/HH community. In this moment, we return to the promise of our democracy: life, liberty, and justice for all.
