Alan Champion Memorial Fund for Interpreted Theater

Alan Champion was without question one of the best theatrical interpreters ever.  His skill, his instincts and his charisma are irreplaceable and he continues to be missed, not only by the interpreting community but especially by the Deaf community he so dearly loved.  Over the years he interpreted many Broadway productions, more than 100, but I’m proud to say that 2 of his favorite productions were with Hands On, The Little Flower of East Orange, and his beloved Bloolips.

At his request and in his honor we maintain the Alan Champion Memorial Fund, where your support will go to help us continue the sign interpreted theater he so dearly loved.  The fund helps us mentor and train new theatrical interpreters.  We hope that Alan’s legacy will be that interpreted theater continues to thrive and flourish for the benefit of the Deaf community.
