Theme: Deaf parents. A hearing child. 
A woman on the edge of two worlds tells the
story of finding her own voice.
Alternate theme if there is space:
Listen…Can You Hear Me Now? is a one-woman, autobiographical play centering on a hearing child growing up with deaf parents but not allowed to sign. Forbidden the use of their language yet still the voice of her family, she lives between the worlds of Deaf and hearing. Not fully belonging to either, she follows her singular path to uncover and find her own voice.
